Event 1: Grand Opening Concert - Chacona
Lucinda Moon (baroque violin), Jamie Hey (baroque cello), and Rosalind Halton (harpsichord) present a program of works by Bach for violin and continuo, solo violin, solo cello, and solo harpsichord
Event 2: Harpsichord Recital
Harpsichordist Rosalind Halton performs two Toccatas, a Partita and two Preludes and Fugues by Bach.
Event 3: Well-tempered Woodwind
Rosasolis performs sonatas, partitas and arias by Bach. Zana Clarke (recorder), Caroline Downer (gamba), Terry Norman (harpsichord), Jane Downer (baroque oboe) and Leanne Roobol (voice).
Event 4: The Coffee Cantata
A free dramatised performance of the Coffee Cantata in Hanna’s Arcade, performed by Leanne Roobol (Lieschen), Laurie Pulley (Schlendrian), Murray Winton (narrator), Benjamin Thorn (flute), Sue Dowdell (violin), Willow Stahlut-Kemp (violin), Carissa Hutchinson (viola), Andrew Alter (cello), Rob Dowdell (bass), and Meredith Norman (harpsichord).
Event 5: Organ Recital
Organist Terry Norman performs solo organ works by Bach.
Event 6: Bach Motets
Fiori Musicali performs two Bach Motets.
Event 7: Festival Dinner
Stefano de Pieri (chef) presents a festival dinner at the New England Regional Art Museum.
Event 8: Festival Church Service
Organist Christopher Wrench and Fiori Musicali present hymns and anthems, with an organ prelude and postlude, in the Armidale Uniting Church, with a sermon on the religious aspects of Bach’s music by
Event 9: Organ Recital
Organist Sergio de Pieri performs a recital of solo organ music by Bach.
Event 10: Lecture by Dr Dorottya Fabian
A public lecture exploring historical performance of Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin by Dorottya Fabian.
Event 11: Unaccompanied Bach
Baroque violinist Margaret Caley performs two Bach partitas.
Event 12: Grande Finale Concert - Badinerie Players
The Badinerie Players perform a program featuring works by J. S. Bach, C. P. E. Bach, and Janitsch. Leslie Martin (soprano), Samantha Owens (baroque oboe), Wayne Brennan (baroque violin), Margaret Connolly (baroque violin), Nicky Tomkin (baroque viola), Belinda Manwaring (baroque cello), Michael O’Loghlin (viola da gamba and violone), and Christopher Wrench (harpsichord and organ).
